- 3:25 – las tres vienticinco
Notes:
cuarto: a quarter of an hour (15 min). Vamos a llegar a las seis y cuarto. (We are going to arrive at quarter past six.)- In English : It's quarter to five. In Spanish: It's five minus a quarter: Son las cinco menos cuarto.
How to talk about dates in Spanish
el + (day) + de + (month) + de / del + (year)
- June 22, 2020: el veintidós de junio de dos mil veinte
- September 10: el diez de septiembre
- January 1: el primero de enero
Note: unlike English, Spanish uses cardinal numbers instead of ordinal numbers. Except for primero for the 1st day of the month.
