飞行员英语 - 目视规则(VFR)下如何和ATC通话?
通用航空飞行员如何向空管发出请求?
“三次握手”(借用一下TCP/IP的概念):飞行员发出请求,ATC回复,飞行员Readback。
飞行员向空管请求的时候需要包括4部分:对方的呼号,自己的呼号,当前位置,请求。
请求滑行
当飞机发动后,先听ATIS(假设当前是Information Bravo),飞行员要这样联系地面(Ground):
Pilot: Palo Alto Ground, Cessna XXXXX, at West Valley, taxi Tree-One with Bravo, closed traffic.
- 先说对方呼号,Palo Alto Ground,Ground负责地面滑行。
- 然后说自己的呼号,先说机型,可以只说品牌比如Cessna,也可以说具体的型号,比如Skyhawk,Skylane之类的;然后说自己的注册号。
- 然后说当前位置,例子中West Valley是club的名字,也可以说停在哪一条taxi lane。
- 然后说请求,例子中请求滑行到31跑道,closed traffic是说留在本场飞五边,记得说你刚听到的ATIS的字母(这里是Bravo)。这些信息的具体顺序不重要,只要该说的都说了就行。
ATC的回答也有固定格式:对方的呼号,自己的呼号,指示
ATC: Cessna XXXXX, Palo Alto Ground, taxi Tree-One via Uniform, Yankee, Yankee One. Advise Ground when runup complete.
- ATC也要先说对方的呼号,然后说自己的呼号
- 然后ATC会给出滑行的指示,这里说要使用31跑道,滑行U,Y,Y1。有的机场runup结束后直接和Tower联系,这个机场却要求你先跟Ground联系。
飞行员需要Readback,把听到的信息重复一边,这样如果有错误ATC会提醒你:
Pilot: Cessna XXXXX, runway Tree-One via Uniform, Yankee, Yankee One.
例子中请求的是Closed traffic,你还可以请求其它的立场方式,比如“straight-out departure”,“left / right 45 departure”,“left / right downwind departure”,等。有些机场有特殊的离场程序以减小噪音对周围居民的印象,比如Palo Alto机场的left / right Dumbarton departure(飞到Dumbarton桥再左转/右转),San Carlos机场的Hillsdale Departure,Oracle Departure等,这些要在飞之前查看相应机场的信息。
请求继续滑行
大部分机场runup之后直接和Tower联系,可以跳过这一步。
有些机场,如Palo Alto,要求“Advise Ground when runup complete“,runup之后要跟Ground联系。同样的三次握手。
注意,由于不是第一次联络,可以将Palo Alto Ground简称为Ground;如果ATC用你的飞机尾号后三位来称呼你,之后你也可以只使用后三位。
Pilot: Ground, Cessna XXX, Runup Complete.
ATC: Cessna XXX, hold short Yankee One, contact Tower.
Pilot: Cessna XXX, hold short Yankee One, contact Tower.
请求起飞
Pilot: Palo Alto Tower, Cessna XXXXX, Holding short Yankee One.
ATC: Cessna XXX, Palo Alto Tower, hold short Runway Three-One.
Pilot: hold short Three-One, Cessna XXX.
ATC: Cessna XXX, cleared for takeoff Three-One, left Dumbarton Departure, following Cessna on upwind.
Pilot: XXX, cleared for takeoff Three-One, left Dumbarton Departure, following Cessna.
请求进场(inbound)
先听ATIS,假设现在是Information Charlie,联系塔台:
Pilot: Palo Alto Tower, Cessna XXXXX, Niles Canyon, inbound with Bravo.
ATC: Cessna XXXXX, Palo Alto Tower, make left traffic runway Tree One.
Pilot: left traffic Three One, XXX.
不同的进场方式:
- straight-in ("make straight-in runway Tree One, report 3 miles final.")
- left / right traffic (downwind entry)
- left / right base entry
当ATC允许你降落的时候:
ATC: Cessna XXXXX, cleared to land runway Three-One, number 2, follow Cessna on 1-mile final.
Pilot: XXX, cleared to land Three-One, number 2, traffic in sight.
请求滑行返回
Tower可能说"stay on this frequency"或"contact ground".
Pilot: Palo Alto Ground, Cessna XXXXX, on Zulu, taxi West Valley parking.
ATC: Cessna XXXXX, Palo Alto Ground, taxi to parking via Zulu, Yankee Two, suggest Juliet.
Pilot: Cessna XXXXX, taxi Zulu, Yankee Two, Juliet.
至此完成了一个完整的VFR的通话过程。
请求flight following
可以在出发前跟Ground申请:
Pilot: Palo Alto Ground, Cessna XXXXX, at West Valley with Bravo, request flight following to Modesto.
Ground: (跟之前的例子一样,给出滑行指示) ... squawk 1234, expect Norcal frequency 125.35.
Pilot: ... squawk 1234, expect 125.35
可以在飞行中申请(比如跟Norcal Approach申请):
Pilot: Norcal Approach, Cessna XXXXX, (当前位置和高度:)10 miles east of Livermore, at 3,500 climbing to 4,500, (请求:)request flight following to Palo Alto.
Norcal: Cessna XXXXX, squawk 1234, ident, altimeter 29.98
Pilot: Cessna XXXXX, squawking 1234, ident, altimeter 29.98
Norcal: Cessna XXXXX, radar contact...
