中秋节快乐

又是一年中秋佳节，已经记不清楚有多少个中秋节没有在父母身边了，相信有不少人和我一样，只能在异乡思念亲人。在这里祝所有朋友们中秋节快乐，阖家幸福！

中秋节对我们中国人来说是一个非常重要的节日，今天来学一学关于中秋节的那些英语。

中秋节：Mid-Autumn Festival 或 Moon Festival、Mooncake Festival mid 表示“中，中间”的意思，autumn 是“秋天”，festival 是“节日”，所以 Mid-Autumn Festival 是中文直译的说法； Moon Festival“月亮节”这是根据中秋节赏月的习俗而来； 而 Mooncake Festival“月饼节”则是根据中秋节吃月饼的习俗而来；

• 月饼：Mooncake

A typical mooncake is a round pastry with a rich thick fillings. 典型的月饼是圆形的糕点，里面有厚重的馅料。

• 咸鸭蛋：salted duck egg

• 蛋黄：yolk

• 咸蛋黄：salted egg yolk

• 莲蓉：lotus seed paste

• 豆沙：red bean paste

• 枣泥：jujube paste

• 五仁：five kernel kernel 坚果核

• 冰皮月饼：snow skin mooncake

不管是什么样的月饼，它代表更多的是一种团圆的祝福。

We would give mooncakes as gifts to each other, and share mooncakes with our friends or family while celebrating the festival. 我们会互相赠送月饼，在庆祝这个节日的时候和朋友、家人一起分享月饼。
