游泳比赛看的好，涨点英语姿势就更好

奥运游泳比赛如火如荼，在为选手们加油的同时，也是时候学一学游泳相关的英语啦！

• swim：游泳，名词 swimming
• swimming pool：泳池
• swimming lane：泳道

各类泳姿： dog / doggy paddle：狗刨

• underwater swimming：潜泳
• diving：潜水、跳水，动词 dive
• freestyle(简称 free)：自由泳

• breaststroke(简称 breast)：蛙泳

• backstroke(简称 back)：仰泳

• butterfly stroke(简称 fly)：蝶泳

【例句】

Fu Yuanhui took the third place in women’s 100-meter backstroke.
傅园慧在女子100米仰泳比赛中获得第三名。

1.混合泳： medley

维基百科对 medley 的解释如下：

Medley is a combination of four different swimming styles —breaststroke, backstroke, butterfly stroke, and freestyle— into one race.
混合泳是结合了蛙泳、仰泳、蝶泳和自由泳四种泳姿的比赛。

如果是个人的混合泳，那么就是 Individual Medley； 而如果是四人接力混合泳，就是 medley relay, 接力赛的每一段赛程叫 leg

游泳穿戴：

• swimsuit / swimwear：泳衣，统称
• trunks：男式泳裤，单数形式的 trunk 有多层意思，可以指车后备箱，或者大象鼻子，还可以指树干等，还有一个发音相似的单词叫 truck, 是卡车的意思

• bikini：比基尼，其中上身叫 bikini top, 下身叫 bikini bottom
• one-piece： 女式连体泳衣，连衣裙也叫 one-piece, 或 one-piece dress
• swim cap：泳帽
• goggles：泳镜
